Fastrack Riders Novice Riders School is for riders making their first visit to the track, or those in need of help with their track riding skills. It is a $175 value taught by experienced professional teachers with great racing resumes. Each student will get a minimum of five classroom and nine on-track sessions. The first on-track session starts at 8:15 AM which is a reconaissance session used to get the group familiar with the track layout and learn where they need to meet before each session on the track.

Novice Riders School riders will ride with the Level I riders and will be required to wear colored T shirts over their riding suits. The student-to-instructor ratio is four students per instructor. Each student gets some one-on-one training some time during the day.

FRA instructors follow a detailed manual and curriculum that teaches all the basic track riding safety issues, as well as techniques for improving your riding skills. By the end of the day, each student will notice a definite improvement in their lap times. Each student recieves an FRA Novice School Certificate, a group photograph, and several discount coupons for various products. Students will learn a range of basics from the physics of how a motorcycle turns to suspension set up.

FRA offers a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. If the student does not feel like they got their money's worth at the end of the day, we will refund their money on the spot. A couple of riders have said they believe the course is worth as much as $250. It is not a B. S. program just to get your money, it is a real, bona fide program designed to make you a safer, smoother, faster rider.

You must have a valid motorcycle operators license, a minimum of six months riding experience, and a minimum of 3,000 miles under your belt to take the course. If you have just started riding we suggest you take the MSF program first.

Level I The pace is slow to moderate so you can learn how to hold a smooth and steady line in the corners. In the classroom, you learn the meaning of the flags, and how to enter and leave the racetrack. Passing is limited to the straights.

Level II riders step it up a notch and can begin working on their riding skills. The pace is fast and you can pass in the corners, but only on the outside.

Level III riders are moving very fast. These hotlappers can pass anywhere it's safe, and are grouped among riders with similar skills. Sessions are also used to learn the bike's set-up characteristics.
